Bribery.....

It works! Emme had her 18 month check-up today (hence the lollipop ;)

She's a BIG, healthy baby girl!

She weighs 27 lbs. 15 oz. and is 33 inches tall.

Ok North Carolina....you'll do for today ;)

The girls and I went to a local farm this morning to get some FRESH produce....here's our finds!

Don't hate me cause' I got struck by lightning!

It's true and if Matt wasn't standing right next to me, nobody would have believed me. Yesterday, it was 102 degrees here with a 110 degree heat index...so, the skies were hot and angry. It starting storming last night....thunder and lightning like I've NEVER seen before. I went downstairs to the kitchen to make some hot tea. When I turned the water on....the biggest lightning strike hit, just outside, it sounded like an airplane landed in our driveway. The lightning hit the ground, traveled through our pipes and I got zapped through the water. I'm telling you, Matt was standing right next to me, so he can vouch for me. It was so scary. I was tingling for the rest of the night. I'm playing the lottery today, just sayin'! :)

The girls and I headed out to the airfield....okay, we drove right onto it...totally illegal, but that's just how I roll!
